Home What to Expect
What to Expect

We feel that it's our responsibility to clear the way for you to come to church.  We know that your first time at a church brings up some important questions.

What are your services like?
Our Sunday service features great music led by a talented praise team and biblical messages that you will be able to apply to your everyday life.  Or, as Pastor David has been known to say, "If you can't use it on Monday, we won't say it on Sunday."  Our service begins at 9:15AM or 10:45AM and generally lasts about an hour.

Where do my kids go?
We know that as a parent your children are very important to you and you need to be sure that they are safe and having fun. We've invested a lot to make sure that both of these goals are reached. Your children are always welcome to attend worship with you. We also have quality activities for children of all ages during our worship services. For more information about our Children and Youth Ministries check out those pages under "Ministries."

Do I need to dress up?
No, we are more concerned with meeting your needs than with what you wear. So come as you are and you'll fit right in.  Most people, including our Pastor, dress casual.

Will I be singled out as a first time visitor?
No, we feel that it's our responsibility to clear the way for you to come to church.  So we won't ask you to do anything you are not comfortable with.  We will not ask you to stand as a first time guest or to wear a name tag that makes you stick out like a sore thumb.  In the worship bulletin you will find an insert for first time guests.  If you want to, you can fill that insert out and drop it in the offering plate later in the service.

Do you want my money?
No, instead of wanting you to give something, we want you to get something! The folks who are a regular part of our church voluntarily give to help support Fairfax Circle. But we certainly don't expect visitors to give. If you join us at one of our services, you are our guest, and we don't ask our guests for their money. In time, if you decide to become a regular part of our community, you may decide that you would like to participate monetarily in our various activities and efforts. At that time, we would gladly welcome your participation. But our desire for you now is simply that you be given the opportunity to check us out without feeling pressured to give money.
