It is November! A time for being thankful. As we start a new month our preschool children will be “bubbling over” with thankfulness! The curriculum calls for a lot of activities with bubbles to bring that point to life!
“When we take time to think about all the things we have—family, friends, food—it helps us forget about the things we don’t have. It enables us to live our days with thankfulness instead of discontentment. We want to show our thankfulness by telling God “thank you” for everything.” First Look Curriculum
BOTTOM LINE: I CAN THANK GOD FOR EVERYTHING.
MEMORY VERSE “I will give thanks to the LORD with my whole heart.” Psalm 111:1, ESV
Our school-aged children will be looking at what the Bible says about honoring each other. We will be doing some special activities for some fun application!
“All people have value because they were created in God’s image. God values each of us so much that He sent Jesus, to make it possible for us to have a forever relationship with Him. We follow God’s example when we show others that they have value, too.” 253 Basics Curriculum
CORE INSIGHTS: RESTORATION • COMMUNITY
MEMORY VERSE: “Love one another deeply. Honor others more than yourselves.” Romans 12:10, NIrV
As we get closer to Thanksgiving we will be sending home a fun family game to celebrate all of the things God has given you that you can say thank you for!
See you Sunday!
