Fairfax Circle Church

Celebrate the season with Fairfax Circle Church

It is with great joy that we anticipate the coming celebration of the birth of Christ our Lord!  We invite you to come along with us on a journey through the Advent.  It is our hope that you would take advantage of these opportunities to pause and reflect on the peace, hope, joy and love that are gifted to us unconditionally every day through Jesus, God with Us.

Nov 13-20: Operation Christmas Child
We have already started the celebration through our involvement with the Operation Christmas Child shoebox program.  This year we sent over 2,000 shoeboxes filled with gifts to children in countries that are not receptive to the Gospel.  Please join us in praying that these boxes will be received by the children with joy and understanding that the Savior has come for each one of them personally.  Nov 13-20, our church serves as a drop-off center for the regular green and red (or whatever color you like) shoeboxes.  Please click here to see the daily schedule and click here to volunteer.

Nov 26: Open Mic Sunday
The Sunday after Thanksgiving, Nov 26, we celebrate by opening up the services to the congregation to hear their stories of thankfulness.  This is a very special time of sharing which you won’t want to miss.  Please come hear how our Lord has impacted the lives of our church family in real and amazing ways.

Nov 26: Decorating our property for Christmas
Bring on the anticipation!  Please join us 5-7 pm on Sunday, November 26 to help decorate the church for Christmas.  It will be a fun time of fellowship and service.

Dec 13: Christmas Caroling for Senior Adults
This is a special time of loving the senior adults at Braddock Glen Assisted Living Facility through song, puppet shows and our presence.  Please join us Dec. 13 at 6:30 at 4027 Olley Lane, Fairfax.

Dec 22 & 23: Living Nativity
Step back in time with us as we re-create the scene of Christ’s birth!  There will be live animals and a delicious meal on Dec 22 and 23, 7-9 pm.  This is a special event that is great for the whole family.  Our volunteer sign-up is coming soon so check back!

Dec 24: Christmas Eve Services
Since Christmas Eve falls on a Sunday this year, we will not be holding morning worship services.  Instead, you are invited to celebrate Christmas with us at 5:30 or 7:00 pm on Dec. 24, Christmas Eve

Dec 31: New Year’s Eve
We will have not be holding church on Sunday, December 31.  We hope all of our hardworking volunteers will take this opportunity to have a much-deserved rest.

Jan 7, 2018: New worship times start
Happy New Year!  On Sunday, Jan 7, we will start our new worship schedule of 9:30 am & 10:45 am.  We hope that our volunteers will appreciate the extra 15 minutes of sleep on Sunday mornings!  Also, this is a great way for some of our early service regulars to become more familiar with our late service regulars.
