I hope your summer is going well and if you’ve been able to get away for vacation I hope you got some great rest and family time.
While we still have a few more weeks left of summer we’re already working on plans for the fall – small groups, children’s ministry, youth group, local college ministries and much more.
Something we want to do, as we begin a new season this fall, is be more intentional with our Sunday morning hospitality. This is the most important time when it comes to making a great first impression for folks visiting our church for the first time.
So we want to build our hospitality team by recharging our Greeting Team. Through the years we’ve had a few people dedicated to this team and to making sure folks were greeted at the door when they arrived. We want to give you an opportunity to be a part of that team.
On Sunday, August 11, right after church, we will be having an information meeting about this team. In the meeting we’ll give you an idea of what the roles and responsibilities are for greeters as well as what the time commitment is. This is an information meeting only and if you choose to attend you are only getting info, you are not signing up or committing to anything.
So if you really like our church, if you like people and if you can open a door, smile and shake someone’s hand then this might be a great place for you to serve. If you’re interested in attending the meeting or if you can’t attend but would like to get more information, please reply to this email.
See you Sunday.
