SUMMARY:Treetop Ropes Course~ Student Ministry
DESCRIPTION:Join us on a treetop ropes course on Saturday\, September 18\, at 3:00pm at South Run RECenter in Springfield\, VA! The cost is $45 per student (as always\, scholarships available). Please RSVP by September 4 and fill out the online waiver. \n \nStudents of all ages\, strengths and athletic ability should be able to complete the course. However\, for the safety of each participant the minimum height is 4 foot 7 inches and the maximum weight is 285lbs. Your student must wear closed-toed\, closed-heeled shoes. They also must bring a mask for non-climbing moments and gloves for the treetop course (any gloves will do: construction\, gardening\, climbing\, weight lifting\, etc.).\n\nRSVP HERE!

SUMMARY:Food Drive
DESCRIPTION:Once a month on the 4th Satuirday from 10am-12pm we will be unpacking large bags of rice and dried beans and repacking them in smaller bags. We will also be sorting fresh produce which will be delivered that week. This is something that all ages from elementary grades up can help with.\n\nWe also need a few volunteers with large vehicles (trucks or trailers) to pick up the beans and rice prior to the 4th Saturday and deliver them to the church.\n\nSign Up Here!

SUMMARY:Lake Retreat
DESCRIPTION:Signup your 10-12th graders for our lake retreat! The lake retreat will be at Lake Gaston in North Carolina\, like normal. However\, we won’t be packing in the lake house like we usually do. There will be a maximum of 14 students\, and 6 adults. Due to the maximum number\, those with the least amount of time left in the student ministry get priority for signing up\, starting with 10th-12th graders. If spots remain available\, eligibility to sign up will roll back a grade or two at a time until all spots are filled. If spots still remain available after inviting all grades (including 6th graders)\, then friends are then eligible to RSVP.\n\nIf your student is currently in 10th grade or above\, you can sign up for the lake retreat starting now. On June 6th\, we will start opening the signups to younger grades.\n\nCost per student is $35. Scholarships are available and kept confidential.
