Happy February! We are starting new topics on Sunday mornings. Even though it is February, we are also starting to get ready for Sports Camp! Mark your calendar for June 15th through the 19th!
In preschool, our new verse is, “Love each other as I have loved you.” John 15:12, NIV
SERIES DESCRIPTION: Jesus loves everyone. He loves social outcasts, robbers, sinners, people who have a little, people who have a lot. Jesus loves everyone. Now He looks to you and me and says, “Love each other as I have loved you.”
In our school-aged ministry, our new verse is, “Here is what love is. It is not that we loved God. It is that he loved us and sent his Son to give his life to pay for our sins.” 1 John 4:10, NIrV. The kids are asking for different prizes for memorizing their verse. If you have any ideas, I will take them!
SERIES DESCRIPTION: God is love. Even though we’ve all sinned, God loves us enough that He made a way for us to have a relationship with Him. Jesus showed us how much God loves us by dying on the cross for our sins.
CORE INSIGHTS: COMPASSION • RESTORATION
I brought back a lot of great ideas and resources from the Children’s Pastor’s Conference. As the books I ordered come in, I will be posting that on Facebook and in our updates. Check out the library for new books to borrow or the Parent Resource Center for books to keep.
These books are for our library. They are going to be popular with our younger kids. I thought the fact that they had an interactive app. made them unique and worth being in our library. Check them out!
See you on Sunday!
