Season of Service

We are in a busy season of service at Fairfax Circle. In a couple of weeks we will be hosting a Meal Pack through Feed My Starving Children. At the end of March we will be serving the hosting the homeless. We are stilling raising the money for the Tania Center. It is all so exciting to be used by God in so many ways!

The children are participating in all of these projects. They are praying over the areas of service, decorating the prayer space for Feed My Starving Children, and making placemats for our homeless guests.

I love the fact that we are serving. My biggest prayer is that we are serving out of the overflow of a full cup. That means we are taking time to KNOW Jesus as we serve Him.
Let’s work together on this. PRAY for these times of service as a family. EXPLAIN that we are serving Jesus in each effort. Study God’s word as a family. If you don’t have a devotion to use as a family, I am happy to help you with that.

I am praying that each of you grow in your relationship with Jesus as we serve together.
Don’t forget that our school aged kids are working on teaching their families the following scripture. These scriptures are great for discussions about what we are doing right now!

See you Sunday!

Then he said to them, ‘Watch out! Be on your guard against wanting to have more and more things. Life is not made up of how much a person has.’” Luke 12:15 NIrV
