Partnerships in Kenya
Through multiple mission trips over the years, Fairfax Circle Church has developed close relationships with organizations helping children in Kenya. We partner with the Nairobi Gospel Centre and through them, the Emabakasi Children's Project. We also partner with the Tania Centre.
Nairobi Gospel Centre
We partner with Nairobi Gospel Centre in Nairobi, Kenya to help train pastors and leaders in children’s ministry and children’s evangelism. Together we’ve trained over 800 pastors and leaders since 2006.
Embakasi Children's Project
In 2009, we began working with Nairobi Gospel Centre to serve the vulnerable children in the Embakasi area of Nairobi. This new mission opportunity led to the creation of a non-profit organization called Side By Side Minstries. Our church, working with our ministry partners, Side By Side and Nairobi Gospel Centre, provides financial assistance to 11 at risk children who are currently living at home with a single parent. We also provide a financial stipend for our Kenyan program coordinator.
The Tania Centre
The Tania Integrated Centre is a Community Based Organisation (CBO) which caters to children with physical impairments and other disabilities. The Centre currently services 165 children aged 2 to 17. The school teaches children from nursery class up through class 8, including a self-contained special needs class that focuses on life skills. Their students follow the Kenyan curriculum, and are also exposed to instrumental music classes, computer classes, and sign language classes. Fairfax Circle supports individual children there as well as partnering with them through financial assistance. Check out the Tania Project to read more!
